We have personally handled a wide range of the biggest and most demanding commercial disputes in Finland, as well as represented a vast number of domestic and international companies in complex criminal and administrative proceedings. We are known for unconditionally investigating the facts and other merits of each dispute. Our goal is to use the necessary means to provide the best solution for our client in their particular matter, be it assisting in amicable negotiations or in mediation, handling proceedings before any court instance or arbitral tribunal, or aiding in external and internal investigations.

• Successfully represented a major company in large scale arbitration proceedings regarding alleged breaches of a shareholders’ agreement.

• Represents a building company in a large and technically complex multimillion litigation process against an infrastructure contractor. The dispute concerns quality defects, the delay of a building project and related additional costs.

• Represented and advised a construction company in a wide array of disputes against, inter alia, other construction companies concerning various disagreements in connection to the construction of a major shopping centre. A number of the disputes were finally handled through mediation, each in separate mediation processes. The rest of the disagreements have been settled through negotiations. The values of the disputes ranged from some tens of thousands to tens of millions of euros.

• Represents and advices several creditors in on-going restructuring proceedings.

• Represented a main contractor in a large and complex multimillion construction dispute against a real estate company in arbitration proceedings. The dispute concerned an extensive amount of additional and modification works, liability for delay of a project and compensation for damage.

• Represented clients in criminal proceedings related to inter alia trade secret issues, anti-corruption and bribery (both in public and private sector) as well as environmental crimes and work safety offences.
